Caitlin, a Perth native, commenced her musical journey with the violin at the age of 6. Under the guidance of teachers such as Marina Phillips, Amelia Peachment, Meredith Cadd, Amanda Drybrough, and Jasmine Trebse, she laid the foundation for a distinguished career.
Recipient of a music scholarship to St Mary's Anglican Girls' School, Caitlin earned recognition as one of Western Australia's top music performance students, securing a Performing Arts Perspectives prize upon graduation.
Furthering her education at the West Australian Academy for Performing Arts under Peter Tanfield, Caitlin graduated with honors and refined her skills under the mentorship of Paul Wright. During her tertiary studies, she actively participated in Australian Youth Orchestra programs alongside the country's top young orchestral musicians.
Caitlin's performance career extends across Australia and New Zealand, collaborating with ensembles such as The Fremantle Chamber Orchestra, Perth Symphony Orchestra, WA Ballet Orchestra, Australian International Opera Company, and Dunedin Symphony Orchestra.
Since commencing her teaching career in 2009, Caitlin has embraced the Suzuki method, imparting her expertise to hundreds of students in private studios located in Perth, Wellington (NZ), and Dunedin (NZ), as well as contributing to various schools and music programs.
Caitlin's students have achieved notable accomplishments in eisteddfods, exams, Suzuki graduations, auditions, and secured scholarships to Perth's elite private schools.
